As long as it doesn't have an odd size at one end, you can just take it to a parts store and they will be able to find the right size. Then they'll just cut it to the length needed.
Well I can't stop you from doing it... not sure why you would though. If it were a molded hose, that would make sense. Do tell us how much it is when you get it. I'll go see if I can find a vacuum diagram to get a name for you.
For what it's worth I bought some 'vacuum' hose from auto zone for the length between the throttle body and pcv valve. Stuff was junk collapsed when under heat and pressure. Bought the real deal from the dealership for 10 bucks. I say keep it OEM as much as possible.
