What is this vacuum line called?

As long as it doesn't have an odd size at one end, you can just take it to a parts store and they will be able to find the right size. Then they'll just cut it to the length needed.

Well I can't stop you from doing it... not sure why you would though. If it were a molded hose, that would make sense. Do tell us how much it is when you get it. I'll go see if I can find a vacuum diagram to get a name for you.

Seems pretty simple to me...it's a vacuum hose! No reason at all to get one from the dealer. It's going to be the same material.

parts store piece will probably cost maybe a dollar or two. dealer is probably $7 and may not be in stock immediately.

BUT according to a diagram I found, it looks like one of the hoses that go to the VSV for the EVAP?

For what it's worth I bought some 'vacuum' hose from auto zone for the length between the throttle body and pcv valve. Stuff was junk collapsed when under heat and pressure. Bought the real deal from the dealership for 10 bucks. I say keep it OEM as much as possible.

I think it's 90445-12284 "HOSE(FOR AIR PIPE)" which is 17360B in the diagram. http://www.toyotapartszone.com/oem/toyota~hose~for~air~pipe~90445-12284.html Should be about $4 at dealer.

Thanks TheDurk I appreciate it. Too many problems already with this damn truck. Not gonna quibble over a couple bucks for a hose to create another problem..

Yup. Ordered it. Not gonna solve my problem but at least it'll be replaced.
