If it's not bourbon, I like certain scotches, too, but I'm a huge IPA fan. Dogfish Head 90 Minute for the win. Racer 5 is good too, along with a number of other micros ... hops are good for ya

I used to be a huge beer guy (and still am) but don't go after it with the same enthusiasm I once had. I've easily tried 500+ different brands of every style you can think of.

I tend to drink different beers with the seasons now, Oktoberfest being my favorite. Although I like American Pales any time as well as Copper Ales. I really dislike most white ales, nut browns and some of the overkill IPA. I like IPA's but the recent trend over the last couple years to produce these hop killer beers is a turn off to me.

All that said I still will drink Coors, Bud and PBR with the best of em. No high brow here.

A lot of you Guys mentioned wheat beers, Kansas City has a hometown brewery that has one if the best wheat beers I've had. Boulevard wheat is a hometown favorite here. As far as my fav beers go it would have to be boulevard wheat or miller high life if im going cheap.

I can't pass up a good vodka like ketel one or grey goose mixed with something like sprite. Also I enjoy summer brew which is whet beer mixed with lemonade and vodka. I don't mind a good scotch on the rocks or a margarita from time to time as well.

I come from a primarily traditional Irish family mind you and my girl friend does marketing/sales for a few restaurants and bars so it's always acceptable throw back a cold adult beverage or two!

Honestly I'm just a beer guy. Some might call me a beer snob but I enjoy good craft and microbrews. Not a fan of any particular styles but typically it's dark in the winter and light in the summer. Also haven't found much enjoyment in sours either, but will try anything.

Recently I did violate my own "creed" and drink a Coors out of a can while camping, it was pretty damn good too.
