What service is required aftr 25K Miles

Hi Guys,

I recently bought a 2007 4Runner SR5. It has 25K miles on it.
Can anyone please help me with what sort of service/maintainence is due at this time and mileage?

The only thing I have changed so far is the engine oil.

This forum has helped me greatly in the past 2 weeks

Copied directly from Toyota's scheduled maintenance site. Handy if you don't have the book on-hand. Only thing left is to rotate tires and I think you're good. Might want to crawl underneath and lube the drive shaft if you feel you need it too.

2007 4Runner
25,000 Miles - 30 Months

- Replace engine oil and oil filter 1
- Rotate tires
- Visually inspect brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs

Additional Maintenance Items for Special Operating Conditions:

Driving While Towing
- Lubricate propeller shaft (4WD)
- Re-torque propeller shaft bolt
- Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis
- Driving on Dirt Roads or Dusty Roads
- Inspect ball joints and dust covers
- Inspect drive shaft boots (4WD)
- Inspect engine air filter
- Inspect steering linkage and boots
- Lubricate propeller shaft (4WD)
- Re-torque propeller shaft bolt
- Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis

Driving on Salted Roads
- Lubricate propeller shaft (4WD)
- Re-torque propeller shaft bolt

I would change ALL the fluids to synthetic and get a fuel injector cleaning done....You have no idea what is in the vehicle & if its original fluids you wanna dump em anyway (cept transmission...don't even think of changing it...way too difficult & the system is supposed to be sealed anyway)

I would not change differerntial and transfer case fluids @ 25000 miles unless you tow a lot.

I would still change em...You have no idea how the truck was treated prior to your purchase...The diff might have been under water for who knows how long...& the synthetic will increase gas mileage too
