What shocks are these?

Hey everyone,

I tried searching high and low and can find nothing about the shocks and struts I have, even a general internet search says no results found. Attached is a picture (sorry for the dirt), I couldn't get the first digit or two of the part number.

Has anyone ever seen these? I had a shop tell me they were not OEM and they seemed unsure as to where they're from. :shrug:

Any insight is appreciated!

I'm fairly certain those are OEM tokico struts which are original to the 4runner.

As said above; "Toyota" "Tokico" and "Japan" should be hints that they are original.

I suppose what I'm curious about is why the part number is xx510-35100 and not 48510-39585.

I've noticed differences between the Toyota part number and the printed company part number, in this case from Tokico. DENSO who makes most of the sensors in our rigs usually has a different part number printed on the sensor than what Toyota has in the part catalog.

But they most likely look like original struts. I replaced mine 2 years ago and they looked just like those.
