What size battery for 2000 3.4

My battery just cashed out and I have to keep it running to go get another. What size battery does it take? (I'm not certain the current one is correct)

What's the largest that will fit with 0 modification?

Figure I'll get an Odyssey or DieHard Platinum AGM.

27f is the largest that I know of with no modification. It will hang over the edge of the fender a bit though.

A 35 is standard and the 24F is the optional heavy duty option for our 3rd gens. I'm currently running a 24F and recently purchased another 24F from the Northstar group buy on here... I gotta say I'd recommend a 24F (and so does Toyota)

I must correct my above statement. I have two 24f batteries at my garage. A Exide 535cca and a autocraft at 600cca.

The interstate MTP-24F is 800cca. Which is usually the type I buy from Interstate. (The MTP brand)

The CCA is important. But, saying that, the Reserve Time is how long the battery will last if it don't start on the first crank. And from my experience the AGM batteries do not have the same RC as a flooded battery.

The above poster stating a 27F fits is a nice thing. I'd put that in. A MTP27F from interstate is 750cca and 150RC.

I wish a 65 group battery had the F post configuration. (1000ca 850cca 180RC) That is my battery of choice next to a group 49 (which may only be a 720cca battery but is rated at 106ah) that's a really big battery some of the euro cars come with.
