Don't know quantities and weights off the top of my head as I just got into a 4th Gen, but it's all in the manual. I use OEM filters for my 5th Gen. Bought a 5 pack on Amazon. Drain plug washer I got from the dealer for free, don't know if every dealer does that.
I use mobile 1 5w 30. I change every 10k miles 175k miles on my 07 right now. I use the oem toyota filter because it was shown to actually be the best filter of all the choices. Some one did a study. Since I have two t4rs and plan on keeping them forever. I bought a case of 10 off of amazon for $42.
V6 gets 5.5 v8 get 6.5. I buy the 5 quart jugs so I can put the used oil back in to see how much (if any) I lose between changes.

I use Chevron Delo 400 XLE 10-30 and the Fram Ultra filters in my V8. Both are available at Walmart. 5 quart jug is $15 and I buy another two quart containers (forgot the cost, but relatively inexpensive). It's a diesel approved oil which exceeds the requirements of my motor. I like the cleaning and lubrication packages that come with diesel oils. I'm in Mesa AZ so the 10W rating isn't as much an issue as it might be in colder climates.

The motors are stout. Go synthetic if you are lazy and want to run 5k+ miles between changes. Stick to conventional if you want to change more often. Oil formulations have surpassed the old days of 3 mo/3k oil changes.
Spend some time on Bobistheoilguy.com if you want to overload your brain on oil data.

Check walmart/amazon, i think they are running a promo on mobil1 or penzoil, usually you can get a high quality synthic for around 12-13 bucks per 5 quarts, or worst case mobil1 extended performance for ~26.
go to amazon or call your dealer buy bulk pack of oem filters for ~5-6 dollars each. set of crush washers.
Should come out to around 30-35(Tops) an oil change. With how high and how accessible the filter is on the 4th gen v6. should really only take you 20-30 min to do the oil change.

Oil: I used any of the major brands that I can get cheap and add 1 cup of Amsoil.
Filter: I started off using Toyota filters but now I just use a larger fram PH16 (Was trying to fit a PH8A but it was too long). Yes, I know its not the listed oil filter but if you look at the listed one and PH16 they have the same pattern and O ring placement for the same price at Walmart.

5w-30 API Rating SN or higher.
That is the specification for the vehicle, anything else is up to you (i.e. synthetic, non-synthetic, synthetic-blend Mobil1, cheap gut rot oil, high quality oil, ect.)
Best filter for the price will be the factory Toyota YZZD3 Filter. A lot of people have cut them up and tested them and found the Toyota ones to be in the upper echelon of quality, anything higher than that is not bad per say but more like "Toyota is top 90~95%, Amsoil, Royal Purple, ect i top 95~100%"

I used Mobil 1 (Synthetic) 5W30 in my 03 V8 with a Mobil 1 Extended Performance filter (M1-102).
Full synthetic may provide you with better winter starts in Denver.
Have had no issues with cold (Canadian!) winter starting with the Mobil 1. Comes up to temperature relatively quickly.
I always put in a little less oil than recommended (calls for 6.2 L and I would put in 6.0L). Better a little under than over!

I'm putting in 5.5 qt with a filter change to get to the top of the dip stick.
Just keep checking your dipstick and make sure you aren't going low.
