I like the "smokin' aces" movie even though they are completely pointless theres lots of good fighting.

I also watched Savages recently, it was good. I give it 3.141592/5 stars

One that took me completely by surprise is Real Steel with Hugh Jackman, about boxing with remote control robots instead of people. I saw it on the bargain shelf and figured if Jackman was willing to be in it, it might be worth a look, although I fully expected just a nice movie for kids. Boy, was I surprised--it really pulls you in, in the same way other top sports movies do. Yeah, it's still a bit sappy at times, but the action and emotions are genuine. Not an all-time favorite, but a pleasant...well...surprise (there's that word again--LOL).
