What’s your first mod gonna be?

I have had mine since May and lots has been done:
- Gobi Stealth Rack with Light Setup
- KC Hilites Ditch & Rear Light Pods
- KC Hilities LED Light Bar
- Rago Hidden LED Bumper & Ditch Lights
- Viair 400H Air Compressor

I am obsessed. I need help. Anyone know of 4Runners Anonymous?

First "real" mod is going to be King adjustable coilovers with bump stops along with new wheels and tires. I have a list of others I'm still trying to decide on which company to go with: sliders, front/ rear bumper, full length rack. Then there are others down the road like a dual battery setup with air compressor.

I purchased some all weather liners from Husky and a $35 Amazon seat cover to protect the 2nd row from my dog. Trying to figure out what wheels/tires would be best next.

first mod was an android auto head unit and backup cam
next is going to be replacing xreas with bilsteins, they're already on their way.

I've had my 17 SR5 for almost 2 years. Started a tile installation business so I'm starting to research suspension upgrade to handle additional weight in the truck and pulling a trailer.

Congrats, I'm awaiting build of a 2019 TRDPRO. My list of mods is getting longer and longer.

Rock Sliders
Front and rear bumpers
Roof Rack
Drawers
Fridge
Roof Top Tent
Lights
Winch
Wheels and Tyres down the line
Possibly lift depending on what size tyres you can get under the 2019 Fox 1'lift
LED light bulb change
Blackout rear decals

After my initial post this is what I have on order waiting for the 4runner to arrive.

ORDERED

C4 Fab Sliders with Steps
Black out decal kit
AJT TRD Key FOBS

XENON DEPOT
HID install for high beam
LED low beam with daylight running lights
Reverse light LED
License plate LED bulbs
Full set of LED bulbs for the interior

RECOVERY
2 Soft Shackles
2 Hard Shackles
TOW hitch with shackle
Kinetic tow strap
Gloves
Hitch Pin
Blue Ridge Overland - Attic, Tool roll and Recovery bag

Considering
Goose Gear platform and drawers
Roof Rack - but choosing a model is killing me so i'll hold off
Rago Fabrication - Modular Storage Panel
Krazy Beaver Shovel
MAXTRAX
SPOD
ARB compressor - onboard air

Everything. I'm gonna mod everything.

Just kidding, probably a lift/tires will be the first thing I do when I buy one.
Compared to my BMW mods on the 3rd and 4th gen trucks are cheap so I have a feeling I may dive into a black hole on here...

Switching to 275/70 ATs, LED interior lights, followed by either RCI sliders or Prinsu roof rack (both ordered so just depends on shipping[emoji16])

Ohhh LED Interior lights... also a good choice and super easy, might have to actually go that route first...

I had to install a touch screen/bluetooth/CarPlay head unit. Couldn't stand the stock one in my '07. So that was my first mod. Installed a Pioneer MVH-1400NEX with a PAC RP4.2-TY11 and put a USB/Aux port panel in one of the blank spots in front of the arm rest.

My first Mods

Figure my first mod might as well be the LED light swap for the interior since all but a couple of lights are burned out anyways. Might as well swap it all at one time.

My second mod will most likely be adding Fog lights as I dont have those on this truck. Anyone know if I can just swap the stalk and put the lights in or do I need to swap out the wiring harness too?

Im thinking I wont be doing any lifts on the truck atm. I am thinking of putting a safari bar with lights along with a roof rack with lights. Im not planning on doing any hardcore offroading with this. But this being my first real 4 x 4 in almost 15 years I might get tempted.

Does used skids count since mine are missing? After that will be some Husky Mats. I need to pay this T4R down before I start serious mods like roof rack.

Ive been spending my time figuring out how far I want to go with lifting it. I need to decide if I want to just get adjustable coil overs now or wait. I definitely want to get a lift, new wheels and tires first though.

I just picked up a leftover 18 SR5 Premium in naughty blue myself. I think TRD wheels will be my first real change. I was planning on needing to upgrade the audio first but I must say the stock system isn’t as bad as I had assumed it would be. Not at moderate volume levels anyways.

I was surprised with the factory audio system as well.

2000 SR5 4WD Non E-locking - I bought it completely stock and swapped out the stereo with a pioneer stereo that lights up and stuff. It looks cool. But i dont really consider that a mod. I really want to convert my rear diff to be able to e-lock. Once i can get the rear e-locking set up, i'd like to get the front diff set up to be locked too.
