One thing I would note, if you need them tomorrow, he's probably not your guy. I read through a lot of the TW thread, and some people had some complaints about lack of communication. His response was that he does this in his spare time, and he's not on the forums all the time checking posts and PMs. It took me 2 weeks to get mine, but my truck wasn't disabled, so I was fine with it. I'll add that they were very well packed in the box, and the install was super easy. I've never done it before, and I was done in about 2 hours.
), so I’m sensitive to mechanical sounds and “feel”. I currently have just under 130k on my v8 4 x 4, and don’t off-road, but who knows what happened in the first 120k, lol. I’m thinking a set of these is in my future! I used to build IRS hub assemblies for Cobra replicas as a sideline income thing, so building these is a non issue for me as I have a full machine shop setup at home. Where is the cheapest place to source the Koyo bearings these days? I used to order bearings for the other hubs through Napa, and depending on the customer’s requests, I would choose either the budget Chinese ones, or higher quality Timken, Koyo, etc. For my own runner I want the best though, so hopefully I never have to think about it for the next 100k at least.
