Wheelin pictures from 9/26/11 in Okinawa

We had a Mitsubishi Delica and my Surf. Pretty decent day of wheelin. Nothing to serious. And you'd be surprised by what that van would do! lol. Anyways, here are the pictures and video of it. Enjoy!

The van got high centered goin up this hill and it took forever... at least 30-45 minutes of snatching... ugh...

I never knew Japan had such lush forests. That is beautiful. I would love to get to Mt. Fuji one day.

How about the hood scoop on the van. Nothing like and offcentered hood scoop to make you think you are cross-eyed.

I don't mean to hate on the van. Actually, it looks like it kept up pretty well judging by the photos. But when I think of an off-road van, what comes to mind is something more like these.... The big E350 kinda things.

@bigfish - There are some surfs that like to wheel, but this was a last minute wheelin trip on a monday so nobody was free. And most of the surfs here are 2nd gens and either hella beat up due to lack of maintenance, or they are prestine and have never seen a spec of dirt in their life.

@littleceaser - Yeah, my third brake light has a power rear veiw mirror that folds down so you can see the rear bumper in case your on a tight japanese road. And I agree, the muffler is pretty big. The guy before me put it on. It does give the diesel a nice sound to it, but it does look pretty bobo IMO.

and yeah, delica's are pretty cool man. They have a 4 cylinder turbo diesel, a low range 4x4, skid plates all the way to the rear bumper, and can seat 8 grown men comfortably. The middle seats swivel around into a couch or they can fold down with the 3rd row to make a bed. He has plans to lift it 1-2" and throw a bigger tire on it with trimmed fender wells.
