When you purchase a used car toyota, should i focus on the mileage or year?

Want to buy a toyota used car? should i focus on the mileage or year? because i saw a 97 toyota ce w/50k miles and 2001 w/100K, both are the same price. which one should i get. Thanks

Are they both in the same condition?

50,000 miles isn't a big deal in my opinion. The 2001 might have a feature or two that the 1997 doesn't.
