Where to buy a transmission cooler locally?

I have a long trip this weekend and would like to do a coolant and transmission fluid change before I go, and I figure it would be an ideal time to install a transmission cooler to avoid the lengendary pink milkshake. I feel like it would be cutting it close to order the cooler today to have installed by Friday so I was wondering if anyone has any experience with getting one from an autoparts store. Napa has this one...

i bought mine from the local autozone, they come in so many sizes and plenty of them can be fit in the truck. i dont think there is necessarily "one" right size, heck, the ones i bought for our trucks turned out to be two different sizes, oops.

i used one like that as a temporary one when the fitting on my radiator broke. No issues with it but id rather have the B&M so just waiting on that to arrive and hoping nothing punctures the cheap one im using now.

like whitson was saying the coolers are model specific for the most part they are generally just general sizes , try calling around to some local rad shops and see if they have the b&m laying around or find a flaps that carries that brand, chances are they may have one, with the time crunch you really can't be picky , either call a local shop and pay a bit more and have it now or order it online and do it when you get back if you think it can wait, you may end up having to pay for a shop to do everything as they may want to do the install as well.....good luck man, next time when you get a wild hair, try to do it a week earlier, lol


maybe pay more for over night shipping....i dunno, i'm trying to help here, haha

Just find one that will fit in whatever space you plan to install it.
If it gets cold where you live, don't go too big or the trans won't come up to temp as fast as it should in winter.
But if you tow a lot bigger is better.

And any major brand from the local parts chain is fine, Jegs or Summit Racing online.
B+M, Hayden, Perma Cool, TCI are good ones.
