where to buy parts

So this may sound dumb, but I am having a hard time finding some fairly simple parts. I am looking to do a full fluid change on the truck ( transmission, coolant, diffs, transfer case ) and am looking for all the proper crush washers. The problem with 1) online shopping and 2) living in Canada, getting parts from the states ends up costing more in shipping.

I have a local fasteners store that would carry all the crush washers I am sure, but I would like to get the proper parts.

Does anyone have a reputable place to buy parts from, such as washers, that would ship to Canada?

He Yella, a few months ago, I saw a T4R sticky, that listed all our Gen3 crush washers...by Toyota part #, all dealer items.

I'm also from ON. to and have a fantastic source for premium brakes kits / got of the Toronto GTA area.

Fluids
- I get them shipped to CanAm Parcel Pickup, in Port Huron MI...$3/parcel fee...nice owner.

I buy Pennzoil Ultra Platinum synthetic oil made from clean Natural Gas base stock & premium WIX XP filter (extended life)...off Amazon.

My trusted garage owner, charges me $15 for Oil Change labor only or an extra $5 if he brings out his grease gun.
- I supply the oil & filter
- fluid change every 10,000 Km

I WILL NOT go to Dealse$hips or Quick Lub places / my mechanic lets me in the bay area, everything is done correct, on his hoist.
- wife's RAV4-v6 costs me $80 Cdn (Total Cost +6L) to do a premium oil change...my supplies are picked up across the border, in MI & provided
Haven't owned my Gen3 T4R long enough to need its first oil change / but have my own grease gun filled with Amsoil Synthetic Lub, for it.

I never go to the dealer. I do most of the work myself and have a mechanic friend if need be. Fluids I will buy at NAPA or CTIRE. my original post was geared more towards specific parts, such as crush washers. Such a simple item, yet, can I use any crush washer; so long as the size is the same? Are some aluminum, some copper, some steel?

There was a kit on amazon.com, for both diffs and transfer case, but it does not ship to Canada. S**t like this really pisses me off.

I've saved money here in Alaska by using them and others in Canada have as well. You get them directly from Japan. Chances are, just for crush washers it won't pay off, but when I did my rear axle seals I saved over $100.

Hey Yella

For the little consumables you are needing like washers and such the dealer is the answer. The online toyota places are not always cheaper on a 2 or 3 dollar part. And the shipping can kill the deal. toyotapartsdirect.ca (they are in Canada) seems to want to charge a minimum shipping charge no matter how small the order.

If I am ordering a big batch I use toyotapartsdirect.ca but if I just need little incidentals like a few washers I just get them at the dealer. And they always have them in stock.

Oh, and those washers you want are of different sorts. Rear diff are steel crush type, transfer and manual tranny use aluminum, front diff uses 1 copper and 1 steel (I might be wrong on these- it's been a while) I could likely dig up part numbers if you need them.
