Which 3rd Gens Came With Lumbar?

Hey all,

I'm wrenching through my '96 project and want to swap out the seats. I'm going to start calling the junk yards but was wondering if anyone had the years and trim levels that came with lumbar support as an OEM option. My '96 Limited doesn't have it.

My '01 limited has powered lumbar with leather.

My '02 SR5 has it. Driver's side only. I'm unaware if any 3rd gens came with passenger side? I'm just going by what mine came with.

1996 Limited definitely has power lumbar for the driver's seat.

I just got a junkyard seat to use the foam on my 96 limited. Junkyard seat was from an SR5 -- and it had manual lumbar adjuster. Weird, my stock LTD seat had the power lumbar support. Maybe it was just an option separate from the ltd package?
I ended up using the manual adjuster seat frame when I reskinned my seats, just for simplicity and losing like 5 lbs (not that it really matters)

All SR5 models (96-02) with the Sport cloth have seats with manual lumbar adjustment. I would start there unless you are looking for the powered Limited ones.

Feels better for me with it *just* pushing up a bit. All the way cranked is ridiculous.

my 2000 SR5 has leather seats, and manual lumbar on driver side only. Cant imagine having electric...just another electronic piece to call it quits with age...and how hard is it to adjust a manual lumbar do you really need a button to do it. set it and forget it.
now heated seat....thats worth the button if I could have one
btw,,I know many complain about the 4runner seats...,recently did a day and a half and 700+ miles in a 2009 low mile subie outback...now that was one uncomfortable seat but sure loved the mpg's...everything is miles away up here
