Valvoline synpower 1st go round.
M1 was on sale this past week so I stocked up for spring maintenance.

Which oil are members putting in their 4th gen rear differentials?

in our cold area best use the 75-90wt. ... in the 100 deg F plus areas many use the higher viscosity .. gear oil gets very hot down there..

in the cold below 20 deg f that heavy oil would be a problem for us..

Amsoil Severe Gear 75w-90 is popular, as well as Mobil 1 75w-90 (what I am using)

75w-140 from what I have hear might benefit the offroad crowd.

I use the Lucas 85w-140 that ECGS recommended with the differential that I bought from them. No issues at all and no noticeable hit to MPGs from using the thicker stuff.

Amsoil Severe Gear 75w-90
buy it from topshelf synthetics
first i used lucas oil 75w-90, bought the gallon jugs from summit racing since it is cheap.
