Since I have one 1st gen, and three 3rd gens ( including the parts truck ) I guess I will vote for the 3rd gen.

I currently own a 4th gen but I would buy any gen except the 5th gen... Yuck! Although some 5th gen owners make theirs look really good. Just couldn't own a stock 5th gen even for a day.

I was searching for a 1st Gen, couldn't find a suitable one. Most were rust buckets. The good ones were waaay pricey. So I started searching for a 3rd Gen. Couldn't find a good one that wasn't close to the price of a 4th Gen. So I bought a 4th Gen.

i was aiming to buy a gx470, eye'd a 4th gen, lucked up and found a 2014 5th gen for a greatly reduced price and grabbed it...


and loving every minute of it....
