Who's 2nd Gen's Sporting a Coverlay Dash Cover?? Pic Request..

Yep, it's that time for the 90, definitely, and the 95's rocking just a hairline, so I figure I'll throw this out to see if you've a 90-95 Truck or 4Runner w/ one, and you're happy with it, post comments, and pics please. Also, what color was your original dash, and did you change it w/ the cover??

I checked today on O/E's and I was quoted $585.00

Cripes, that's half the cost of my engine rebuild kit, screw that. The Coverlay's only $122 + s/h and well, my labor time either way, and I'm not keen on doing another dashpad install, too many scratches, and all those bolts.

*Reason for the pics is I think maybe with the O/E colors certain colors last longer, just a thought.

Don't let the low post count dissuade you from chiming in, I'm no newbie, just rarely post here. Give me an answer please, as this is where the better interior, detailing, etc posts are. :bigok:

I have one bought the car used with one on it. It doesn't stay in place very well w/o velcro tabs. Velcro tabs get old and lose sticky. If it moves, it blocks your defroster vent. It gets really dusty and full of ash if you are a smoker. It has faded over the years but still looks pretty good. The dash is in perfect shape I guess it was just a precautionary measure. You can stain a cover but not a dash board. Pros.... dash still looks new underneath. Good place to stash emergency gas money. Mine is grey and it looks pretty close to the same color as the interior I never really looked how dead on the color match was. I probably would have noticed if it was really far off. I assume it would cover up any unsightly blemishes. I know my mom had bought one when I was a little SH@T head kid and made a massive dent in her mini van dash.

Great, asap, it's appreciated. :awais: Detail shots, good resolution, I wanna pass this on, and also see how well they fit, and if any trimming/whatever is needed.

*Kinda seems there'd be alot of folks in Texas/Etc, Aussies/Etc. that would be sporting these, seems to make sense to me.
