No everyone knows this. My dad has called them TuRDs since day one. He loved it when I added mine. He said you got a TuRD! It was priceless.

Why do people place gt, cobra, or 5.0 badges on v6 Mustangs? Or Acura badges on Hondas?
Or a Saleen, Nismo, Roush windshield banner stickers?
Ferrari sells a big fat logo badge as an option for the front fenders, but you can purchase a nice 3rd gen for how much extra it costs.
If TRD wanted to sponsor me, I'd gladly throw their sticker on my truck.

I think that they look extremely sharp, plus you can customize them to coordinate with your color scheme.

the only thing i did was put a 4wd badge under my right headlight bc thats how the south american spec cars come n it looks cool.

Yeah the Rugged Trails suck, but the Rugged Terrains are great tires. That's what I've got and they't got nearly 30k miles, and a lot of life left in them. I wasn't trying to poke at anyone with a 2WD TRD truck, but it seems like they almost make more TRD ones in 2WD than 4WD, at least around here. My dad had a really hard time finding a 4WD TRD Off road when the 2WD ones seemed to be everywhere. You fall into the 1% then, and good for you. I can respect that. The majority of the TRD package trucks whether 2WD or 4WD will never see any sort of mud or dirt though. I probably saw at least 20 just today, and I doubt any of them have really been "Off-Road".
Exactly, it's not hurting anything having them on there and at worst your out $15. I've spent $15 on way stupider things before... Since they never actually made a TRD 4Runner, I feel like it kinda leaves it up to the owner to make it there own TRD. I'm fine with people putting things like this on their cars, but I don't like it when you see a little base model mustang running around with 5.0 badges, GT badges, and what not. I guess that's because I feel like they are trying to be something they're not when they couldn't afford/obtain the better version of their car. I also don't care for mustangs or their owners usually so that might influence my opinion too haha. Not all of them are bad, but they tend to attract a certain type of person it seems...
