Will 265-70-17 tire fit in the spare tire holder with tow hitch?

I got a set of take off from 2014 4runner with 265-70-17 tires. Will one of these fit in the spare tire holder with tow hitch? My current tires/wheels are the stock 5 star 16.

I have a 267/70/16 A/T that fits in the stock location.

I can't say for sure, but overall diameter is close. If anyone can chime in and say that a full tread 265/75r16 fits, then I think you'd be safe with a 265/70r17--they're pretty much the same diameter.

One word of caution, however. Newer 4runner models have much more backspacing than the 3rd gen. Test fit the spare on the front of your 4runner to make sure it will clear the UBJ.

Depending on the tire "make/model" it'll fit. I have a 265/70/17 Yokohama Geolander AT/S with a little more than half tread life mounted on a Sequoia split spoke under my 2001 Limited. I'd even guess there is enough room for a brand new tire.

No way it would fit under mine. I tried a 265/75/16 and it was touching the hitch and the panhard bar. Some people can run that size of tire under there though. Depends on what hitch you got I guess.

I have 265/75/16 in the stock location, with a standard tow hitch. I am running BF Goodrich KO2s. It might vary from tire to tire, but these work for me, and it's partially the reason I went with this size tire.

You have the wheels and tires, put it underneath and see if there is room.
