Will a Light Racing UCA 25470 fit our rigs?

So a Toytec boss kit is for sale locally and includes 25470 light racing UCAs. I have researched these and they are made for 2005+ Tacomas. Is this a cross over part that can also be used on our rigs? Seller removed kit off of his 2005 4R im told. I have a 2003 v8 4x4 4Runner if that helps.

They should fit. My Camburg UCA's were for a Tacoma and Camburg has the same part numbers for the 4Runner and Tacoma UCA's.

Found this response from a amazon selling who was replying to someone with a 2003 4R. Then below his response was another person saying it will fit. So if it fits how big a deal is this taper difference? Basically im looking at purchasing a toytec boss lift and these uca are included. If the deal ia good enough is this taper tbing a nig deal? Dont know UCA lingo that well as you can tell.

They are essentially telling you that the arm itself will bolt up to the top of the shock tower but ball joint won't fit into your steering knuckle properly due to a different shape on the shaft that bolts through it. You could buy those arms and then just buy the 25480 ball joints separately. They've updated the ball joint design a few times anyway so you'll want the latest ones with the grease fitting on the top.

Yes, the proper taper angle is absolutely a big deal. If the tapers don't match, it could work itself loose over time, potentially damaging both the upright and the ball joint.

Great adjustability, the old balljoints sucked but great support from them to upfit new parts, the new ones seem much better so far, bushings are quiet and smooth. My only recommendation would be to buy through a direct distributor for easier support, I bought mine on ebay and had to jump through 3-4 reseller to reseller hoops before getting to a direct distributor that SPC could warranty my parts through. Luckily everyone was helpful in the process, just took a lot of emails and a few days to work out.

Bottom line, I'd buy them for this platform again. I DD my 4runner with occasional offroad trips whenever I can and they've stood up well for the last almost 20k miles now.
