Wish we could do this with our 4runner!

What a piece of trash, All it would have taken a 3rd gen was a Rear Diff Lock some nice (And aired down) tires and away we go, slow and steady. :guitar3:

No way dude. That hill is probably a lot steeper than it looks in the video.

I doubt anyone's 4Runner could go up this hill. Click for 720p.

yeah not that impressed, didn't really try and find a line, kept doing the same thing over and over until he got a lucky bounce and 700hp......i could be wrong but that really didn't look skillful...more like brute force, which is kind of cool, but still not much props to the driver on this one imo.....

this is just a quick vid i found that shows just because you have 700 hp and limitless suspension doesn't mean you have to just floor it all of the time,
i get that sometimes you gotta do that but it looks if he kept teh other direction he could have had it in less tries....

Yeah I'm not a real big fan of that kind of wheeling. The vehicle is a beast, but he tears apart trails. In the first video you see a large rock get dislodged and hit the vehicle below him. It's impressive, but he's ruining trails and possibly putting people in danger. Also as izz said, it doesn't seem to have much skill involved other than using the skinny pedal a lot.

I'm sure that it takes more skill than expected, but more balls than anything. You could seriously get F'd up doing some of those trails like that... including the bystanders. I bet a SAS 4runner with a v8 swap rolling on 39s couldn't even get up that, there is just so much loose rock you have to gun it like that... he really did use all 700hp to get up that thing.
Hopefully ppl that participate in this 'sport' have limited trails and respect not leaving the designated trail... but probably not.

Yeah I'm not impressed even a little bit. The rig looks and sounds BA but the driver I think is tryin to compensate for a lack of driving ability on the trail with that big of a rig and engine. I bet He could have found the right line and just walked right up it.

He should just give that rig to me and I'll drive it right. :bigok:
