With REAR locker, is ATRAC still active on FRONT axle?

As title stated, when in 4-LO and with rear locker activated, is the front axle (IFS) completely OPEN (no traction control intervention at all) or is ATRAC active?

The answer is both. If A-Trac is off then no there is no traction control and if it is on then yes.

Pretty positive it's active. If not I've been putting a lot of faith in my dash lights and coming out on top either way. :shrug:

I believe it is. I did some off roading this past weekend and got temporarily stuck way out in a pretty gnarly trail in Maine. With locker on and ATRAC on it felt like it was indeed working on the front. On a related note, I was very impressed by the capabilities of a stock truck with A/S tires (Michelin). Toyota has thought out it's off road systems very well.

I was just out at an off-road park Sunday. With my locker engaged the traction control light said off. I never used the A-Trac but I am pretty sure once you push the button it is on. I would assume the traction control off light would then go off. I'll have to test.

But their have been topics here and I think even a YouTube video showing results when just using locker and when using both locker and A-Trac.
