Wondering if this would work......

So, I added the BudBuilt clocking ring. Problem with that, is that it kicked my shifter on my case 30* with it. Problem with that is my shifter no longer fits in the designed hole, which leads to the problem of not being able to put the shifter back in, which leads to the problems of not being able to shift into 4WD, and gear oil being thrown inside my cab. I have a piece of plastic on it now, but I need some other option.

Enter my two choices.

1) I can fabricate some kind of extension, pray the angles are right, and use that(I have about 3/4 of an inch between by t-case shifter, and the body).

2) I can fabricate something different all together.

I do have another option, I think.

See, we all know where the transmission shifter is located, on the right side of the tranny tunnel, sitting in the drivers seat, which leaves the t-case shifter on the left side, closer to the driver.

What about using a shifter out of a '96 Land Cruiser?

Sure, there would be some fabricating still, but nothing that would be as extreme as using the stock shifter. That would move the t-case shifter closer to where it needs needs to be, just need to worry about the tranny shifter. But, all that stuff can be taken out and replaced. So, what if I just did that with 4Runner stuff?

Think it would work???

I would bend the shifter 30 degrees in the opposite direction of your cloaking ring rotation.

I would also notch out the floor board to give you clearance between it anf the shifter base.

But I might not know what i am talking about with out actually seeing pictures of it.

I thought that the cloaking ring was used with the flux capacitor to help generate the 1.21 gigawatts needed to pass over the Danial's trail.
