Would 906's fix this sag??

Hi everyone today i going to talk about your topic i want to share what i know They are actually the highest spring rate of all the OME rear springs for this application, so they should sag the least with a load like that. They would be perfect for this IMO.
 
whitson - nice KTM. I ride an RMX 250 (2 stroke!).
I have the 890's and hoping to get out this weekend. I like the ride of the 890's and was thinking of just adding airbags to level it out.

not sure if that's an option for you. let me know what you do and how you like it. I may follow suit.

thanks fish! its a 505xcf if youre a ktm fan and its WAY too much bike for me, scary fast.

have not looked into an airlift system, i'd really like to lift it a tad anyways so if i can find a spring that would work loaded and unloaded, all the better.

still hoping to find a deal on some 906's, i think the verdict is that they will work.
 
Someday I'll have a KTM, but yah, that sounds like a lot of bike. I'll probably stick to the 250 range. Just need a garage first, I've already got a vintage Yamaha and 4Runner in my outdoor parking stall...

I am still really happy with my 906's - load my truck up to the gills and I can't even tell. It is the subtle lift I was looking for. Also, I was running the original shocks with them and although they were overpowered by the springs, it wasn't bad. The new OME shocks make it drive much better/safer at any sort of speed though. Definitely recommend the 906's.
 
I ended up scoring used coils for front and rear (880's and 906's) and bit the bullet for new shocks. The first thing I did though was install the rear coils to see if I liked the ride back there, which I obviously did.
So with '99 talls and 906's, you will get a bit of rake and it rides almost no different than '99's all around. I think the rake could be cured with small top plate spacers (3/4"?) and I can't imagine that they'd really do anything negative to the ride...

In my experience, with '99 tall fronts and 906 rears, it rode a bit firmer in the rear, but it handled FAR better than stock. No more squatting and diving, no more body roll around corners, much improved!;):
 
ok, finally an update. i took a before picture while running the dogs and asked my lovely wife to sit on the rack and look pretty;

weeks later, i had her find the same outfit, loaded up the dogs and tried to find the exact same spot. thats the level of scientificness that went into this lol! she climbed back up, i managed to get the dogs to be still and whalla! the difference is very noticeable. i think i got more than 2 inches since BOTH of my stock springs were broken. I love it, definitely feels more like a truck!

I think you're going to have to go back again and take it again with the same lighting... im unable to make a correct comparison :l
