Would factory skids from a 99 fit my 02 Sport?

I have an 02 sport with that small skid plate upfront, and nothing underneath. I have the chance to get the factory skids off of a 99, cheap. Will they mount up without any modification? Like will there be screw holes for them etc.? Can I keep my front factory skid and put these on also?

Any help appreciated.

yes skids are compatible between all 3rd gens (1996-2002).

The threaded holes are on the frame, not the skid plate. The skid plates are the same (not just compatible!) on all years of the gen3 4Runner.

It is in tow pieces, held on/together by a total of 9 M8 bolts. As seen here, on the top of this picture (bottom is the gas tank skid):

Just think about that for a second... They were both installed on your truck originally.

I was under the impression from reading old threads that the distinctive visible, slotted 02 front skid plate was all that came on the 02. You’re saying that the 02 came with all of the skid plates? I’m a newb so be kind please

Yes, it had the front silver one, and the other two Charlie showed above. All 3 came on it from the factory.
