would you trade your 99 sport for an 02 sr5

I would put the 02 t4r under my buddys dealer name.(no tax or need to register in name).
Really dont to try an sell on cl due to my not having enough time to deal with people and tire kickers. My buddy says I should see at least $6,500-$6,800 at the auction if I'm lucky.

Hey guys, I havent been on here. I moved out of state and haven't setup my internet yet. Anyways, I've added amsoil to the front diff and t-case. Changed spark plugs with oem denso's, with ngk wires. Noticed better performance. When the pulled the old plugs they were ngk iriduim plugs single electrode. When I put the denso dual electrode plugs I noticed better fuel with better,smoother power all around. I took my t4r to a shop in minnesota before I left to install the poly sway bar bushings with endlink bushings. They ended up breaking the endlink's. They installed some aftermarket ones from advanced auto. I noticed a clunk in the front end while driving out of state. the lower bolt of the endlinks clunks up and down. I tried tightening down but it only works for the 1st 5 minutes. Have any of you had any issues with after market end links?

I've had AZ endlinks on for two years with no issues. Sounds like they were not tightened properly to start with and came loose--this buggered the threads so now it won't hold when you try to tighten them up. Time for a new endlink, but don't blame AZ.

Eventhough they are both nice vehicles...I'd keep the black one.....just got more going for it!

I still havent made the jump,just still waying out my options. I love my truck, I put in some good lube for it to last me long time. All I'm thinking is right now it sounds like a hassle to sell mine and redo the lube,radiator, and other things to get it up to date on the 02. Even though they are both t4r's side by side they looks like different animals. Mines like a stripper and his is like a librarian. Who doesn't love strippers.

I wanted to give up my ’99 for a 4th gen and the bros here talked me out of it.

I’m going to keep mine for another 2-3 years and look into a used 5th gen ’10 in the future.
I’ve had the 1st (’89), the 3rd (’99) and the next in the pattern should be the 5th gen.

Simple Solution...

buy the other one... make a sick trail rig out of it... and keep your sport for a daily driver :cheers:
