I just truly wish we didn't need these places for our troops to go for help, that it would have already been taken cared of.

To me that's just it too. We spend over half a TRILLION dollars on military spending, yet we can ensure that if something happens to our troops while serving, that they are more than taken care of. Guess it's more important to make a few people billionaires.

It's always an added kick in the balls when the organization in question refuses to answer questions or give an interview.

If it matters, there are several reports that WWP has refused to be involved with gun raffles, gun donations etc.

ETA : another reason to dislike WWP, they have filed lawsuits against other charity's that have the words Wounded, or Warrior in the charity name, including several that were around before WWP was founded. They basically forced them to change their name, on the basis that people might get them confused.

No your right they don't, the government has nothing to do with the type of foundations out there. My point being a little unclear is that we shouldn't need to rely on the charities to take care of the servicemen and women that need the help. It should be automatic and available (help) to them. But all to often those that need the help the most fail to get it. And yes, the President does have the ability to change the way we treat those that serve, it's just, he can't turn a blind eye like so many in the past have, this is how and why or VA hospitals are so corrupt.

There are some 60 members of the Congressional Banking and Finance Committee in Washington... Many are prominent members in so much if I mentioned their names - you would recognize many.

There are just 20 members for the Congressional Veterans Affairs Committee and you would not recognize a single name because they are typically all junior senators and congressmen. The legislative branch of government makes all it's own rules with regards to membership, committee size, appointments and the like. The executive branch has no say in this what so ever.

Why the disparity..? Money. Money for re-election campaigns. Talk to your local senator and congressmen to make the change. If the executive does it out of an executive order he'll probably get sued for miss-appropriation of funds.
