Wrenches for inner tie rods

For those of you looking for big and thin wrenches to do the inner tie rods, I picked these up from Napa for $37 for the pair with a $5 discount for signing up for their points club. Not sure if they'll work yet but the big one goes up to 54mm and the smaller one goes to 43mm and are about 11mm thick halfway down the jaw. According to mtbtim's tie rod video, they should fit the bill.

Nice Find.

Yeah man. But now I'm seeing that inner tie rod tool that you can rent from Autozone and wondering if I should go that route since you can put a torque wrench on it. Only problem is I'm doing this solo so I don't have anyone to hold counter force on the rack while I torque it.

I have the lisle inner tie rod tool, I have not used it on the Toy yet though.

Sick! I just ordered the smaller one off amazon and planned to use my pipe wrench on the ITRE to break it loose and snug it up. That's what I did previously. Let me know how those work, I may run down to napa and get the bigger one.

I have previously used a pipe wrench (on other vehicles)... but it isn't great.

Those look like they would be good for plumbing use too!
