Preaching to the choir here. I've got a '97 SR5 that would look great with a sport hood! If you have one or see one in the Chicagoland area, I'm interested.

If you're outside of Chicagoland, I'd be interested to chat about shipping.

I found mine on Craigslist, someone local was selling their 4Runner (same color as mine) and it had the OEM sport hood with scoop. I asked if he would like to just swap hoods for money and he initially refused but I countered with a bit more $$ and said I would do the swap with my tools and he accepted. Just another option. Be patient and you'll find it eventually. Do later year 3rd gen sport hoods fit a 97? If so here is one on Craigslist. If same color, might let you just swap hoods... Worth a shot.
