Anyone cutting off your 4th gen resonator or got one lying around? I want to try an experiment combining it with my Borla muffler. I cut out the resonator on install, and I like it mostly, but I'm curious how it sounds with resonator. Haven't seen any vids out there with this combo - I'll record it and post a comparison vid with all 3 states: Stock vs Borla vs Borla + resonator. I've got an '08 w/V8 :
Mostly, I'm wondering if it'll help to temper that scream at WOT. At times, when a little kick in the throttle could be useful, I hesitate to push it around town when there are pedestrians, bikers, streetside restaurant seating around (which is pretty much all the time in my neighborhood, especially when it's not winter). I don't mind the noise for the most part, but want to be a good neighbor/not that guy. I'm a 'car guy' and enjoy my share of loud exhaust systems, but nobody wants that in their face.
