I am in the Air Force and I am relocating to Kirtland AFB (Albuquerque) I am looking to get an older 4Runner for weekend use (Hunting, Camping etc) I have a daily driver not looking to spend to much but if you are looking to sell or know anywhere between Austin TX (Where my Inlaws live) and ABQ (Where Im moving) that would be a good place to look around July/Aug.. Help a guy out, I am moving from Richmond VA.

Your search spans 3 generations which are very, very different. I would suggest reading up on 2nd (1990-1995), 3rd (1996-2002), and 4th (2003-2009) generation 4runners to figure out what you want/need.
 
If you're looking for 4Rs in that range, search the car ads in Huntsville, AL.

I was there last week for a few days and I've never seen so many 1st - 4th generation vehicles; the early ones were in in great shape, and still driving. Easily, I kid you not, saw a dozen of each generation driving through the Huntsville-Madison area; it looked like the 4R capital of the US.

Thanks Jack, I will take a look and see what I can find.. I get that GB and I guess its more because Im not looking for much more specific than a 4R or even a 1st Gen Taco.. I just want a Toyota because I know they are dependable, I just dont want to drop more than $8k on something I only plan to use on the weekends.. I just know during hunting season I wont be able to haul a Mule Deer on/in the trunk of my sedan.
 
That is an awesome looking 4R JD.. I would def be interessted but wouldnt be able to consider make a purchase till Aug. After we get the new House and my Move exspenses reimbursed by the AF.
 
I am selling my 98 4Runner SR5 4WD. 157K miles. very clean inside, no rust, but does have some hail damage (I live in TX). Pretty new tires (about 10K miles), new AC system 2013, TB was changed at 91K. $5500.
 
I'm a dealer down (dealer that puts on the Thrill on the Hill FJ rally) in Alamogordo and I just took in a 2005 4runner 4x4 4.0v6 163k miles.. burgundy. super clean, just needs a set of tires it looks like. Older asian couple owned it, not offroaded. It just got here, so I don't have a price yet, until its done going thru the shop. But you can text me at 321-223-6622 if you want more info or pix.

Just pmd you. Have a 99 limited with factory rear locker that needs nothing but someone to drive it more often. I am in the Duke city
 
Nathan and I have a 1997 limited 4runner with 179k miles on it.. stock with E locker.. in nice shape. Retail is 6500. I can sell it for $5200. My wife and I just had a baby and its in NICU.. but let me see if I can get you some pix.
