This is a long shot. Looking for a brand new genuine set of TRD headers for my 2002 4Runner with dual cats. Part number 0060217141007.

Not interested in Doug Thorley or OBX.

PM if you are looking to get rid of a set.

Doug Thorley > OEM, good luck on your search

Beg to differ. The original TRD headers were made of 304 stainless flanges and pipes. Ironically... they were made by DT.

The DT headers have stainless pipes but mild steel flanges. The set I received was absolute shit in terms of quality. Returned for a full refund.

So again, not interested. But thanks for the bump.

I can't speak to what you received, but mine were adequate for a production part. Bummer you got such a bad set, maybe things have changed.

The flange should be mild as stainless has a tendency to warp. It expands more than mild. Pipes should be stainless to avoid corrosion a degraded flow.

Anybody know if part number #ptr10-34950-04 would work ? I found some for sale on eBay but it states for Tacoma 3.4 , t-100 3.4 just wondering if these can possible work.

Common misconception. On turbo cars, aftermarket manifolds are usually constructed of 100% 304 stainless piping, flanges, all with TIG welds. Ask anyone from the Supra, STI, and GTR crowd. Those cars generate some serious heat.

The notorious leaks with the TRD headers were due to a design flaw. I had a set of TRD headers on my 2000 with the newer ball joint flanges with spring fasteners. Had no problems whatsoever.

On the DT headers I ordered/received, the flanges were not straight, areas were rusted, and was missing the ceramic coating in certain areas, (how I noticed the rust). I wish I saved the pics. The workmanship was complete shit. Don't mean to sound like a negative Nancy, but the DT headers were terrible.

I also researched this given the availability on eBay. They look very similar but will not fit.

Check out my build. Not sure where it is but you might find it in the intro section. I posted a link to TRD headers. Here's the problem with the online parts; they don't always update their availability. It may show it's in stock and allow you to actually pay for it and order it even though it's been discontinued. You need to call directly and ask them to literally put their hands on them and verify they have them.

Keep in mind, you'll have to modify the rest of your exhaust system. Read my info in the build...looking fwd to your results.

EDIT:

Now I'm confused. The T100 TRD headers on eBay won't fit. But you're saying the part number 007 headers meant for the 01-02 with dual cats, (LEV spec), won't bolt up without modding the stock exhaust?

Thanks for posting the links BTW.

The headers were fine. The Magnaflow upstream 48 State Catalytic Converter - PN# 93258 wouldn't bolt up to the headers. I never tried to see if the stock exhaust would bolt up.

You would think that the Cat would have bolted right up but it didn't. The elbow was off. Quick mod at a good muffler shop.

I think the best picture you're going to get is in this link;

Gotcha. Thanks for the confirmation.
