XM Radio ?

Is it me or are others hearing this too on the XM Band.
I am getting a lot of the emergency alert tones and every so often on some of the channels during a song i nheear a click sound, like a switch being turned off and on. Is this a trailer or something XM does now?
I dont remember it when I had XM yrs ago.
Any input on matter.

I have XM in my truck and XM internet at work and I haven't really noticed anything different.

Not quite sure what is meant by "emergency alert tones" other than the Emergncy Broadcast Signal Test that they are required to do every so often. However, I have XM in one vehicle and Sirius in the other, and don't get the clicks, beeps, or pops you are talking about. It may be your receiver.

yes the emerg. broadcast sound was one of them, BUT it did it alot more then once a month, more like 5 times a day.
the clickin sound was like dropping a quarter in a juke bax, it stopped until today 7/5 on the 70s channel it did it once, so not sure what it is.

I use Sirius which has the same music channels but haven't heard any unusual sounds or anything. The noises are probably due to loose connections in your electrical system or something.
