Xm/sirius radio

Hello everyone,............NEW MEMBER! I have a 2007 4-runner Limited, I LOVE
it. When I first bought it 3 years ago (used) I could turn my radio on and one of the settings Text or what ever I would get a sample of XM radio and it would give you all the information to subscribe to this pay radio station. For some odd reason I can't get that anymore. Is my radio not working correctly or do I need to call xm radio. My book that came with the car talks of a code but I can't seam to pull it up or put one end. My son says it isn't or doesnt have the correct tunner. Reading my car manual it has the top grade radio/cd player they install in 2007. I know a one time it showed how to install xm radio. Can any help or know what I'm talking about.

Try changing the source to XM/Sirius, then tuning to channel 0. It should display your ESN or Radio ID number. You will need to have that number available when you call them to activate your account:

The fuse to the XM module may be blown or the XM module may have failed.

FYI, if you call them right now you are able to get 2-3 months free. Some sort of current promo.

I did that with my 2010 just the other day.
