yah shifting problamos!

ok so i went 4 wheeling the other day and took on some major major mud, anyways it ended up breaking my alternator, i fixed that. but the boot on top of my tranny to my shifter is ripped and there was mud all around it i got some carb cleaner and sprayed all the mud off the shifting is still kinda sticky and i also changed the tranny fluid and transfer case fluid that happened to be pink from the water in it, so yah what should i do now besides replace the boot
