I just noticed my FREE Yahoo email account has been upgraded from 250mb to 1GB. Too cool and no strings attached!!! 
You can send/receive emails up to 10mb in size.

I see that Gmail is or has gone to 2GB. I can't imagine keeping that much email.

I opened a Gmail account and your right it has 2GB of storage. I still use my Hotmail account, I let members who want to contact me through that account. Hotmail use to have 2MB of storage, but Bill Gates must of felt the pressure and now Hotmail account have been upped to 250 MB of storage. Not near the storage of it's competition, but it is pretty decent.

Dang, that's huge! I admin our email system for 3,000+ users. Except for a few, our average mailbox size is 50 meg. I make the users archive to PSTs. It's company policy and a legal discovery issue. We never allowed the MB's to get huge in the first place so there was nothing to take back later. A smaller company could be much more liberal. If I allowed that here, the servers would be in the Terabyte size range.
