Rack looks good. May have to get me one of those. By the way, I like the look of the tint on the windows. what % did you use on the front windows and did you add any tint to the rear ones? I may be tinting my windows soon and and am unsure if I should do only the front, or go all the way around.

Correct, 20% in front and stock in rear. To my eye they look like an identical match.

Ski and snowboard bags last week. And my kids if they are fighting....LOL.
Been rocking the Megawarrior w/extension for about 6 weeks since I found a lightly used one on Craigslist for $200. Looks good, works even better than I would've imagined for the snowboards/skis I've been throwing up there every weekend. It did make my gas mileage go down a bit though, which I'm sure you've figured out. Also, don't tilt your moonroof up; it will hit it. Other than that, works great! Probably condense it down and keep it up there without an extension for the summer.

Love the look of it! I have the Yakima Loadwarrior and I am thinking about getting the extension for mine. Do you have any problems opening your moonroof??? I think the extension is like $100 more but well worth it!!

I want to tint my windows and his fronts look to be perfectly matched to the rear ones, which I like. And based on his signature (which I have now read) looks like the rears have not had any additional tint added.

I just go the Yakima MegaWarrior too. After driving around with and without it for comparison sake, look like I'm taking a 3ish mpg hit ? That seems awfully expensive. Dunno if it's the wind resistance, vibration or what. Rack seems to vibrate a lot a highway speeds (nothing in the rack). I'm heading out on a 2 week roadtrip and hope to use it ....

I only lost about 1.5 I believe with mine, but that was a scientific measure and I sold it so I can't test it now.. The problem is mostly the wind resistance since it makes your truck taller and givers it a blockier and more uneven front profile.
Are you sure everything is properly installed and tightened? I never had a problem with mine vibrating and I removed/reinstalled it often for various reasons. I also installed one on my friend's pathfinder a few months ago and he hasn't complained any about vibrations.

I have had mine on for 3 months or so and haven't noticed a difference in loss of mpg's. My average for a tank is 375 I could probably get 400 but I wont dare let it almost run out. Never had an issue with vibrations, I travel to Denver once a week, up to 80 mph no problems.

Is it the fairing vibrating or the actual rack? The fairing can move with the wind a little because it's flimsy, but the actual rack can be tightened down pretty good - shouldn't be vibrating back there.

Yes, everything is tightened down to the factory crossbeams. Guy at rack store help mount it, wasn't very difficult. Took it off and put back on myself just to try it.
Yes, figured that is the case too.
Might be faring wobbling in the wind, but that's mounted down pretty tight too. Guess I'll find out more as I hit the road in a few days. Can alway remove the basket (nada in it just yet) unscrews halves and put in back ?
Kinda planning on putting spare tire in rack when I go off-roading so as not to snag the spare ground stuff.

I keep mine stored in my garage. I use it when I go on camping trips and out of town. It's really useful, but a complete annoyance to drive around with when there is nothing in it. It's noisy and hurts MPG's. It only takes 15 minutes to install and take off. Much happier without having it up there full time.
