Yellow Headlights?

I am not sure if any of you have seen these, but I have seen a couple of these Hondas around with bright yellow headlights. I am not sure, but I would assume these would be illegal. What are your thoughts?

In all localities...they are most definitly illegal. over in the UK, I think there is a mandate that all cars must have them for rain/snow conditions. In the US, the only DOT approved headlights must be "white" in color (of course that also includes slightly blue or yellow-yellow as in stock color)

They are illegal here too (in Canada). You must have white headlights and for fog lights, you can have yellow or white.

I would think the yellow headlights would be AWFUL for visability.

I had a buddy with a Civic who had yellow headlights and foglights. They were REALLY bright but still gave him poor visibility. He got pulled over 3 times within the first 2 days of having them and decided to get rid of them. They're illegal here in Pa. I don't think they look good at all either.

Yeah, I have looked in front of the cars when I have seen them and the ground looked dark. I guess they might be ok in fog or rain, but damn they are annoying\ coming at you.
