Haha. Of course it was a dealer installed option. =) Also, it has extra USB plugs (2) in the rear AC area. I guess it was all about wiring the power USB to the rear seat. =)
I had no choice of the matter. Car is in Texas and I'm in CA. Haha

Awesome! I bought my runner there on the first of this month, they're on the opposite end of town from me. I think I sat in your truck before you bought it! I sat in the only cement they said they had there, LOL! Congratulations!

I've been eliminating all the people who sat in my car before me. Hahaha. It was confusing and hard process buying out of state vehicle. I'm happy now. ��

That is the only reason I did not buy a loft downtown where I live. Not enough parking garage clearance for my Scout.. and now that I have a 4R also I'd be limited in deck clearance.

I've installed Xenondepot HID KIT. Easy. I cut the hole on the plastic piece with an exacto knife. (I didn't want to buy a drill piece). Easy install. 4300k philips. I thought I looked a little yellowish but definitely brighter and whiter than the stock.

Blackout Overlay Mod

I got the 4Runner Blackout overlay from the dealer for free. Since there wasn't any discount on the TRD PRO, dealer added All Weather mats and Blackout overlay.
After seeing everyone installing the blackout overlays, I thought it was good until I saw it in real life. Black on black is hard to see and sometimes, it all blends in and can't see the lettering.
I wanted to make something similar to the front TRD GRILLE where the "TOYOTA" letttering is dark Silver and the background grill is black. I went to Home Depot and I could not find the matching color. Someone showed me the can of flexidip ( similar to plastidip). I've used it because if it looks bad, I can peel it off. I think it turned out pretty good. I'm satisfied.

Just wanted to share the type of tint film that I discovered after researching many hours. Haha
3M Scotchshield Security Auto Tint 35% all around.
It's an anti-theft security film to deter thiefs.
The quality is similar to 3M Color Stable and the price is similar to 3M Crystalin.

I never thought about getting a security Tint for vehicles but 4Runner's trunk is connected to the main cabin. On my BMW, I only have 3M Color Stable and not worry of smash and grab because my stuff is in the trunk and locked. 4Runner is so open and you will lose everything if they have short time to take your stuff. This film delays their actions and maybe prevent from taking my shit.

Just wanted to share with you another option.
It's 35% visibility all around so the rear became dark. I like the medium front Tint. Thanks.

VIOFO A119 Blackbox Dash Cam.

I have installed VIOFO A119 black box DASH cam on the front of the vehicle and the rear. This black box reviewed very well and highly recommended by many people on YouTUBE reviewers and it's the best budget blackbox system out there. Records in 2K, much higher than 1080 P resolution. It records well for daylight and also a records well during the night. It captures license plate without any problems. I highly recommend it. The rear, I attached it using the 30 pound 3M double-sided tape.

Blind Spot Mirror 3"

I have installed 3" blind Spot mirrors. I've had 2" blind Spot mirrors on my other vehicle but when I attached the 2" round convex mirror, it was too small for 4Runner side mirrors. It's so easy to see out of 3" round convex mirror. I like them. I know you can buy RAV4 's side mirror but that's $100. This is $5 for a pair on eBay. Haha

Sunglasses Holder Mount

I have installed a sunglasses holder where the Handguard supposed to be. It's a direct replacement and it is easy to install. If you have a 4runner TRD pro, you are not going to have any sunglasses holder. This replaces the handrail that is attached on top of the driver side door. It's five minute install and it is worth the $15 that I spent on eBay.
