Finally! Got a good deal too! 20' Release with a Yamaha 150.

Nice !!! I bet that scoot's right along with a 150 on there. Have fun with it , enjoy !!!

I got a new Starcraft pontoon coming fri.am 18ft 25 hp Merc. EFI 4 stroke. I have lake property so it's docked all summer. Nothing fast but nice little crusier/party boat.
 
Jay where you at in C. Fl?

Nice boat man, that would be a great intercoastal or light off shore boat.
 
Nice boats! There's some really good fishing up in Alabama. I spent a lot of time up there as a kid since my parents owned a few acres and had a vacation home out in the woods. Ever hear of "Wing" Alabama?

Yeah i know Auburndale, I used to fly into Winter Haven airport all the time. I also used to wake board out in that area.

Yep. That's basically Auburndale right there. It's grown quite a bit over the past few years.

That pic was taken in Lake Ariana if you know where that is.

Nope never heard of Wing, I live in Jasper, 30 miles northwest of B'Ham... whereabouts do you fish out here, Smith Lake, Black Warrior River, Ala. River????

It's been many years since I fished up that way. Actually, the last time I was in Alabama was 23 years ago, when I was 12 yrs old. I spent a lot of time up there though between the ages of 3-12. I have a lot of family up there.

I mostly fished in some local ponds and in a place called "Blue Lake" from what I remember. I'd love to fish some of those places you mentioned though. I do a lot of Bass fishing in our local lakes and pits (biggest to date is 13.1#'s). I also enjoy Snook and Red fishing down around Pine Island and also Honeymoon Island.
 
nice, i do mainly all bass fishing- my biggest to date is 6# LargeMouth on Smith...

my dad and I are actually modding the boat right now we are taking up the dryrotting carpet and recarpeting the deck... the stratos will scoot too...

Yeah, I bet it is quick. I only have a 150 and with the 20 footer, it only runs in the mid 50's empty w/ just me. My friend has a '05 20ft Lake & Bay w/ a 225 Merc & H/ jack plate that runs darn near 80 mph. That boat scares the crap out of me! :awais:
