Ultra-Gauge MX 1.3 Transmission Temp Help

Hello everyone I purchased an MX 1.3 on the recent group buy and am getting an error reading on the transmission temp. Has anyone found the the right code to enter for our vehicle for it to work? I've found codes for 2005-up Tacomas but nothing for 3rd Gen 4Runners or 1st Gen Tacomas. Ultra-Gauge does not have a contact number as well, they do everything through email. Hoping to get lucky here if not i'll have to go through Ultra-Gauge ticket help process. Thanks in advance.

Did you ever get it to read the trans temp?

EDIT: I went with a scangauge II. Not an ultra gauge

Thank you for the replay. What preprogram did you end up using for your 4runner?

Sorry Luke, I thought this was a different thread.
I went with the scan gauge 2. That worked for my 2001.
I wanted the ultra gauge but they never could tell me if it would work. My apologies for the mistake.

Hey I just talk to ultragauge tech support via email.

They say that if your able to program the scangauge to read trans temp you should be able to use the same code for the ultragauge MX.

What xgauge program are you using to get trans temp on your 3rd gen 4runner?

Hey Guys I have great news!

Last week I went ahead and purchased the Ultragauge Blue and downloaded the ultragauge app on my Iphone. I was talking with tech support for about a month before buying the ultragauge blue. They were not much help when it came to getting a PIDs for transmission temp for the 3rd gen 4runner. I know that people with the scangauge are able to get transmission temp using this PID.

Transmission Temperature F
TXD: 686AF101B4
RXF: 044105B40000
RXD: 2808
MTH: 00090005FFD8
NAM: TFT

Well I'm happy to say that the ultragauge app is able to read Xgauge. I was able to create a custom gauge with the data above.

I hope this helps anyone looking at getting the ultragauge set up. I was told buy tech support that what ever I can do on my ultragauge blue I can do the same to the Ultragauge MX. I think the MX is harder to program vs the blue.

I bypassed the radiator and have the B&M 70268 trans cooler.
