Ha! - I'm finishing up revision 11 right now, but here's revision 10 (and the first physical prototype - needed to adjust the clearances and touch up some angles):

Factory plastic used on the top of the bumper... Was that a test or the plan?
Very close clearance, I assume you are going to expect people to put on the stiffened rear body mounts?

Yup, that bumper, with gas tank mount and a tire gate would be awesome. With the option for a gas tank skid plate and I’ll order mine when you do and maybe we can save in some shipping expense. Why’s Keith gotta be in North Carolina...
Also, i have not read this entire thread but I was hoping to be pointed in the right direction for what people are doing for fuel pump/ filter set ups and the electric side of the swap.
I have a lot of stuff from a prerunner build I never finished and was thinking the pump and filter I have for that plumbed from a fuel
Tank pick up to the stock fuel lines would work fine. Put pump on a switch, stock ford sending unit and like an auto meter fuel gage.

that's why I said I was increasing clearances in V11. and yes; everyone should go to poly mounts if they're going to run any aftermarket bumper on a 3rd gen 4Runner, IMO. (plenty of threads on this - too much chance of body damage with factory mounts)

I will gladly volunteer my vehicle for west coast testing and abuse when you are ready - I'll even fab my own tire/gear carrier and share the plans with you

Just do a dual swing with tire carrier, hi-lift mount, rotopax mount, jerry can mount, fold down tables, propane tanks mount, Coleman stove mount, 4 maxtrax mounts, and area LED lighting and you'll be all set. lol

there was some mention of perhaps making a standard gas tank top plate that could be attached to the ford tank (or fuel cells I'm hoping...)? Is that still in the mix? I'm going to be using a fuel cell but would like to keep the Toyota stuff if possible.

I'm looking at ways to reuse the Toyota stuff in a Ford tank with a custom mount arm/plate.
For a fuel cell, depending on the depth, you may be able to use the oval Toyota assembly with a corresponding bolt ring inside the bladder, I'd think? If that's your intention, I'd pick a cell with the same interior height as the stock tank.

Bumper looks awesome. I like the taper under the headlight as it really changes the profile. Bumpers that have a lot of angles perpendicular to the ground are fugly IMO. Photos probably don't give an accurate representation but is that enough room for bumper deflection against the body under the tail light and around the quarter panel? Plans for a bolt-on swing out option where the entire pivot could be removed when not out on a wheeling trip (makes the hatch usable on a daily basis).

I did my best to carry the arc from the hatch (side view) into the bumper so that it wouldn't have a "block under the back of the truck" look. The rest of the angles are swiped from @%1;Assburn's rear bumper (which was the inspiration for this one)
Nope. I'm increasing those gaps significantly - they were unexpectedly tight when the prototypes were bent up.
I haven't thought a lot about swing outs (I'm going to mount my spare vertically inside), so I'll happily take advice & ideas from you guys there! I'll design the pivot and let the end user build what they specifically need. Being able to pull the assembly easily sounds like a good idea - appreciated!
