Is there any way you would take a complete front and 3/4 view of your truck with the AVS protector? I am curious to see how it changes the lines/looks, especially on black. Also, how do you like it? Did you have one on your previous 2014? TIANovember 13, 2020

Wondering if it creates any substantial boundary layer that would kick small, light rocks over the windshield or put them right in the sweet spot? Thinking about your 2014, you were so lucky to avoid injury. I hit a full size bed liner on the freeway at 70 mph. Truck in front of me swerved and I was in the car pool lane with someone next to me. Lucky to have the skid plate, KO2 E loads, and my sliders. It was a hard hit with the bed liner being suck under and then catapulted out the side into the K rail. Luckily no damages or injuries.

Damn Saker, this build is slick and you are wasting no time in getting it spec'd out the way you want it.
You're auxiliary power setup is super clean. It looks like you're using a Blue Sea Systems 5025 ST and their 100A DC breaker. I have a few (noob) questions as this is something I want to do but need to fully understand before I purchase anything:
1) The idea behind the fuse block is to eliminate a bunch of wires with inline fuses going to the positive terminal on the battery AND ground wires, yes?
2) Based on the above, I can only conclude that the 100A breaker is meant to break if amperage peaks >100 in order to protect the battery, yes?
3) What in gods name do you plan to run besides a few lights that would pull more than 100A?? (The real question here is, do you think 100A is overkill or is there a logical explanation that I haven't figured out?)
4) Where are you mounting your relays?
5) If the relays are in the engine bay (where I'd assume they'd be), are the relays ground post (85) going to the fuse block for ground?
6) Can you post a link to the relays you're using?

You rock man! This weekend I ran the wiring for my raptor lights with a dedicated switch on the left side of the dash... during this process I realized "god damn, there is going to be a rats nest of wires in here if I add even three more devices..."
I am definitely going to build out this aux power system in mine soon.
Last question: Is that like 2 or 4 gauge wire coming off of the battery to the breaker/fuse box?

That’s why I run as much in split looms or this expandable sleeving.
Suggestion, think things out as much as possible. You will still make adjustments “on the fly”, ask me how I know. Don’t rush, it’s going to take more time than you think it will. In the end, it will work and look professional, if that’s the end goal.
Battery cable size is all I can tell you.
Mine is probably overkill to say the least. But I built it for any upgrades in the future.

Thank you, this 100% good advice. I come from an IT background and have spent many hundreds of hours building out server racks in data centers. There is nothing better than standing back and looking at all of the clean cable runs and admiring how accessible and expandable you've designed the rack to be.
Needless to say, I'll be referring back to the work you've done when I go to work on mine. Keep it up man!
