Rear Dome Light Repair
Hey Dudes,
If you're rear dome light has stopped working, it may very well be a problem with the switch in the hatch lock mechanism. The switch inside the lock is what tells the dome light to turn on and off based on the position of the lock.
This video shows you how to remove the locking mechanism from the rear hatch and separate the halves of the mechanism so you can access the switch to make the repair.

The site has been in slow decline for many years. There use to be a ton of regular contributors but that list has dwindled down. There was way more engagement, discussion, and sharing of information and ideas when this forum was at its height of popularity. It was much more fun to be a part of. I don't think anything can be done to bring it back to what it use to be. People move on and social media has had an effect.

I am stumped
I have a 97 Limited 3.4 Auto 296k miles
I have an issue when trying to take off from a stop.
Plugs and wires are new
New fuel injectors
New plug coils
New fuel filter and screen
Ideas?
I heard it could be the throttle cable, piston rings, or tranny issue
Someone on here must have experienced or heard of someone with the same issue

Have a 98 runner not to sure why my idle is bouncing from 650-850 rpms. sounds like a vaccum leak but not to sure where it could be coming from. What spots should i check and i am also wondering if i should clean throttle body and iac valve.
