I personally like the white 2002 but the front left part of the bumper looks messed up. Pass on the second one, looks like it has paint oxidation and the last one looks pretty darn clean from what I see.
Can't really say much about price since it varies so much by location. If both the 00 and 02 are clean and no rust, I'd go with what ever color you like best. E-locker on any of them?

Is there nothing good in the private party?
Of the 3 you posted #3 is the best "looking" one. Nothing much better then you looking at them yourself and driving.
And yes the buyers guide will give a solid platform to gain a lot of knowledge.

I went and test drove #1 today and i really liked the way it drives. it didnt pull to one side or the other on braking and accelerating. no strange noises or anything. I liked it a lot but the dealer wouldnt budge on price. said he had a buyer lined up willing to pay sticker if his mechanic liked everything. so i told him to call me if he doesnt sell it.
they had 3 3rd gens there but i only test drove the one. the green 2000 looked like someone had spray painted over rust on the rear axle and definitly on the hitch.
here are some pics. do you think its really bad?

Head south if you have the chance. You may pay more in airfare and drive time but in the long run rust free is very nice to have. I'm in NH and flew to S.Carolina to buy my Runner. I had a buddy coat the underside this fall and I expect to rust free for quit a while. I looked for two months and I know the one when I found it. Good luck.

I dont think the rust is bad but I think without service records, they're over priced.

I would agree with pit bull, the rust doesn't seem to be bad, simply surface from what I can tell. But that's only the rear axle, there are other areas to look at.
That said, the rust isn't bad, if your willing to put in the work to clean it all up, and protect it from future rust...if not, head south.

They seem to be having Saggy McBottom Pants going on.
