Gauge and thermostat light replacement

Hey guys, what LED's have you all used (brand and bulb type, link if possible) that worked well for your gauges and thermostat lights? Preferably ones with little to no hotspots and aren't too bright for night driving.
Thanks!

I used these ones from Amazon. They’re a little bright for the gear selection lights on the dash but they work great and look good. I chose blue so I don’t know how the other colors look but these worked good for me.

In my experience any 194 and 74 bulbs worked just fine. I've dealt with three different colors of each across probably six different brands, and they all seemed to behave just fine.

The thermostat plastic ones seemed to be yellow in areas with my white LEDs, but I suspect that's because the actual plastic yellowed with UV exposure. I might try to whiten it with Hydrogen Peroxide some day.

So long as your dimmer rheostat works, which it should if your lights are coming on, you can just dim them to whatever you want.

Thank you, I just wanted some confirmation on the bulb type and dimmer situation because people are back and forth about how well some LED's work with the dimmer.
