Thanks for the props! The roof rack has been on my list of things to finish.....still need to wire up the lights! As for using it, I built it mainly to carry a small boat or canoe, but instead of buying either of those, I bought a house. All I've used it for so far, is a clothes line, when I went camping!

Smile Polished her up, and added a new TRD Grill Emblem

I was looking into doing the Satoshi Grill Mod, but decided against it. I've always been partial to my stock grill, over the newer style or Satoshi mod, just thought it needed something extra.......I saw this emblem on a couple of other rigs, and decided just to add it to my stock setup.....turned out pretty good......I think anyway!

That is a fine touch Rob..welcome to the TRD on the grille club. I didn't feel the Satoshi Mod was for my truck either..the front seemed empty. glad I had a pair of 520's to incorporate with it.

Thanks for the compliment Blcktpgsr! It was your rig that finally made me decide to get the emblem, I had been thinking about it for over a year! I too found the Satoshi mod left too much empty space up front, but your setup fills it in quite nicely!

I recently remembered, another mod I did last winter......UnderHood light! Totally made out of some junk lying around my dads shop, but works like a charm!

Small pushdown switch, which when pushed down by the hood, keeps the light off.

Wired it to the battery, and used some Conduit wrap to clean things up....

Used a small automotive bulb with a socket......

Some say, you don't need a light under the hood, as Toyota's don't break down......but I thought it would be helpful!

A light that may come in handy is a underhood light from the early 90s Chevy 1500s.

It works of an on/off switch, however the light is on nearly 10+ feet of wire so you use it in other areas of the car...ie tire change

I place them on all my rides ;)

Smile Looky looky!!!

Look what I got for a early BIRTHDAY PRESENT from the Mail Lady!!!

These are the Units I bought from Nordstrom Automotive off E-bay. They come off a 2000 Tundra TRD Access Cab. I paid $160.00 for the pair, plus $140.00 for shipping, and another $25.00 or so for the Customs fees. (Shipping from the US to Canada = MURDER! So total after all was said and done: $325.00.

Are you running any wheel spaces? What is the backspacing on those wheels? I'm looking for a similar look - pushing the tires an inch or so outside the fenders.

No spacers, but the wheels have about 4.5" of backspacing.........

Looks good man, roof rack looks different, not saying that it's a bad thing. It actually catches the eye oddly. I'd say cut the end pieces so that it'll be slightly shorter and doesn't stick out too far, but yeah I kinda like it. Hey, I noticed you changed your 4wd shift knob? if so, please share the hows and what?

THanks for the input man! The rack was built to hold a canoe or a small boat on it, so that's why the oddly long cross bars are there.....

As for the shift nob, the stock one unscrews, and you can get a replacement of your liking at any aftermarket parts store. Mine came with these really small screws that clamp the knob down to the stick shift......pretty easy, and dresses up the interior a little. I also did a RICER style pedal kit....he he he!

How do you like the ride with those y/b billys? The Tundra lift thread of all threads over at Yotatech says "i do not want those!" haha. Im getting the same struts with 30k on them shipped to me as we speak.

I don't know what that ride is like, as I haven't mounted them on the truck yet. I'm waiting to get my rear setup upgraded before I mount the Tundra stuff up, as I don't want to be driving with a Reverse Rake....

Your's looks like it's got a spacer installed inside the coil pack too??? That may be too much....not sure. I'm going to be running the small top plate spacer on top, not inside the coil pack......I'm told this is more desireable.

What size spacer are you going to put in? I was thinking a 3/8 for my future set up.
