The truth about Wheel Spacers(Scrub Radius)??

So Im sure a similar thread has been discussed before..and please if it has, someone direct me! I want to know about the issues with adding wheel spacers. I understand the excess wear on on the bearings and all, but I have not seen anywhere that talks about the Scrub Radius(google it). Apparently,(and Im really just asking) when you widen the wheel it changes the scrub radius. I honestly thought that would be a bigger issue that what ive seen, or not seen in the forums....any ideas, stories, suggestions?? Thanks all!

have you been to Hawaii all the trucks there have 3inch wheel spacers, i my self have 1.25 and got no problem so far but anything abouve 1.5 is kinda pushing the wear on bearings and stuff like that

I don't see how the wheel spacers would increase the scrub radius.

My definition is the horizontal movement during suspension cycle. It shouldn't change with wheel spacers.

I understand the wikipedia definition of scrub radius but with the 4runner, it is super positive anyway so making it even more positive won't change things much more.

When you go to a taller tire, you also change the scrub radius. So what , who cares? Were not driving formula one or nascar Race cars. I can't tell any difference if I am 2 psi off on my right front tire or when i adjust my track bar by an 1/8 of a turn.

Run the wheels spacers, it looks better, gives it a wider stance and I can't even tell that they are even installed in the 4runner.
