Can anyone confirm if seized calipers are covered under CPO?

Have a 2006 v8 4runner, 45k with a CPO warranty, just got charged $800 at the dealer for 2 new calipers as the 2 front ones were seized. Did i get taken for a ride???? Bought in 2009 with 34k miles.

Did you just get the CPO warranty or did you get a Toyota Extra Care warranty?

The Toyota Extra Care warranty will cover you to 100,000 miles or 3 years from date of purchase.

I believe the CPO is 1 year/12,000 miles for complete coverage and 7 years/100,000 miles for power train.
 
That is correct. CPO vehicle is only 1yr 12k bumper to bumper warranty. and the 7yrs or 100k ***FROM THE ORIGINAL DATE OF FIRST USE*** for example my 07 4r was purchased in aug 2006 so i have till aug 2013 or 100k for the certified to expire. Calipers would only be covered for the first year of ownership,. Unless you upgraded the power train warranty to a WRAP warranty which extends the bumper to bumper for the full 7yr/100k powertrain warranty. cost? im not sure since i got mine at cost since i work at a stealership

Is the 7yr/100k mile warranty whichever comes first or either?
 
Thanks guys that is what i thought. Damn it. Yes glock it is whichever comes first. So my 2006 has until 2013, im never going to hit 100k anytime soon as i only do 5000-6000 a year and im at about 50,000.

i can always rely on this forum it's awesome! thanks again.
