At least tell us what you replaced it with......... I know there are plenty of drivers who never take a 4runner off the beaten path (or more than a gravel road) but if that was me I would not be in a 4runner. There are plenty of far better driving SUV's out there for hauling groceries, but the 4runner does that just fine aswell

I hope you like the next one better

16 Edge sport.

Can't beat 315hp and 350tq

The add on features are worth it besides the motor.

Never had an opportunity to enjoy the 4Runner for what it's built for.

good luck with the Ford. Traded a 2014 Explorer for my 2016 4runner and couldnt be happier. To each their own..

I did the opposite. I had a 2012 Edge Sport and thought it was a pretty good car--AWD, fast, fun, nice features. But then stuff started failing--I think I had a lemon. So I traded it for my 2016 TRD pro.

I'm not a brand basher--I've had a few Fords, Dodges, Chevys, Nissans, Hondas, and this is my first Toyota. Enjoy yours. They're a nice car.

That's fair, if you're not really using it for off-road there are far better on-road oriented packages out there. Best of luck! :D

I traded in a 2014 F150 for my 2016 TEP. I agree , could've be happier and should have bought it 2 1/2 years ago when I was looking at them then.

This right here. Most people here on T4R are biased towards the 4runner. You can't really go wrong with a 4runner, but honestly, there are much better road cruisers and family haulers out there.

I try not to bash brands either as each serve a purpose. I traded in a Focus ST 2 months ago for my TEP. Engine was great as was the 6 speed manual but quality control was lacking in comparison to the Toyota. Thank goodness Toyota does not velcro headliners in.

I used to eye the Ford Edge but ended up being uninspiring for what I wanted.

Since we've already gone OT:

Skipping mini-vans - I love to hear what (a) reliable, (b) mid-sized SUV, (c) in the 4R's price range, fits y'alls thoughts.
